📄 Documents Required for JEE Main 2026 Application Form

If you’re planning to appear for JEE Main 2026 (Session 1 in January / Session 2 in April), it’s crucial to be ready with all necessary documents before you begin the online registration. Incorrect uploads or mismatched information can delay or even cancel your application.

Here’s a simple list of all documents you’ll need — and a few precautions every student should take while filling the form.

🧾 Documents Required

1️⃣ Identity & Personal Details

Aadhaar Card – Must have a recent color photo, and linked mobile number for OTP verification.
Passport (for OCI/Foreign students) – Ensure validity till the admission year.
OCI Card (if applicable) – Valid and legible scanned copy (PDF, 50–300 KB).
Recent Passport-Size Photograph – Color photo, white background, 80% face visible (no mask); JPG/JPEG format (10–200 KB).
Signature (Scanned) – Black/blue ink on white paper, JPG/JPEG format (10–100 KB).

2️⃣ Educational Qualification

Class 10 Marksheet/Certificate – Mandatory; PDF format (50–300 KB).
Class 12 Marksheet / Hall Ticket – For 2026 appearing students, mention roll number and school details.
Bonafide Certificate (if required) – From the current institution verifying Class 12 enrollment.

3️⃣ Address & Eligibility

Address Proof – Aadhaar, electricity bill, or rental agreement (if applicable).
State of Eligibility – Determined by place of Class 12 study, not native place.

Read the Information BulletinDownload and go through the latest NTA Bulletin before filling details. Every year, eligibility and format instructions are updated.

Photo & Signature FormatUpload only your own photo and signature. Corrections are not allowed later.
